The XT660 is an Italian built bike, sporting a moto-minarelli engine (yamaha italy), Brembo brakes, piolai forks, & san remo rims coupled with a reliable japanese fuel injection system. These bikes are bulletproof with a good long distance track record.
Fuel economy is good at 24km/litre, with bulk torque and a comfortable ride, either one-up or carrying a passenger. A great low maintenance bike with easily available online accessories and parts backup.
Fuel mapping can basically be changed by pushing reset and mode buttons on the dash, (so no need for dyno tuning).
A perfect bike for rough roads or long distance touring. great brakes, fast bike on the mountain curves and very agile in traffic
